Kaley's accident prone weekend...

So, we went camping again with my whole extended family this weekend. It was NOT a good weekend for Kaley. This is the only picture I have of her, though. Thursday her and Kyle went with my parents so I could come with Michael on Friday after work. Thursday night she got a high fever and threw up. She had to wake up all night to take medicine to keep her fever down. She threw up again on Friday morning and by the time we got there Friday evening she hadn't eaten hardly anything at all. We think she was mostly dehydrated.

Then, Saturday morning her, Michael and Kyle went for a bike ride. She has been doing really well with the training wheels and now braking. She made it through all the hills just fine until the one right by our campsite. I heard her coming and got up to go see how fast she was going....TOO LATE!!! She lost control and wrapped her face around a wooden post. I ran to her, picked her up to find blood pouring out of her chin. So, 3hours later and 4 stitches we were back at camp.

Then, Sunday morning she was running down the street and fell, cvracking open her lip and cutting her ankle....then this morning she walked into the car mirror and stubbed toe pretty good on a crack in the sidewalk. Now she is playing in her newly padded bedroom....Just kidding.

Memorial Day Weekend

Our weekend started out with a garage sale at Carrie's. So I spent Friday and Saturday there while Michael took Kyle to his game and then the kids to McDonald's.

Kyle enjoys catching becuase there is always action. He is not so good at just standing there but there but he is paying much better attention.

These dumb dogs are in the cage tied to their kennel becasue they keep jumping the fance. So, we come home and this is how they were. Charlie (the white one) holds the fence down for George (brown one) and then goes over himself. Appharently this time that didn't work out for Charlie

Turkey Run Getaway

We went to our favorite Indiana State Park with the Burkhart's. We didn't take kids. We missed them but we had a really good time.

These are out hobo dinners. They were huge! So yummy!!!

This waterfall was at the top of what they call the punch bowl. It was so pretty.

Everybody needs a little snack on a beautiful day.

Even Bailey gets a few.

A little neighborhood hopscotch. I didn't know kids these days knew what that was. I don't think there is a video game of it. :)

Neighborhood Friends

So this is Emma. Her and Kaley are a week apart in age. This is the first time Emma has gotten to play. Kaley and I showed up after a walk and there she was in our driveway with her brother. She came up to us and said, "Hi, I'm Emma. What's your name?" Her and Kaley hit is off. We have kids at our house all the time but this is the first girl Kaley's age. She was so thrilled to play with dolls and do princess stuff. They are good friends already.

These are 2 of Kyle's friends. They are in 2nd grade. Beau (left) lives with his 80 year old grandma but jsut told me his is going to live with his dad this summer. He is a little awkward. He is all into video games and snack foods. :) In the middle is Emma's brother, Vincent. He is a good kid. I like him. They have another brother, Isaac that comes over, too. He is in Kindergarten. He usually gets mad and goes home.

This is such a mission field for us. We don't know any believers near us that have kids our age. Kyle goes to school with these kids. Beau and Vincent have both gone to church with us before but Vincent only once. I am afraid to ask again.
How in the world do you get that little side thing that has quick links to people you know or sites you visit most frequently???
